I finally bought a Terragen 2 Deep+Animation license. I'm doing the CGI for a machinima group with some buddies - I've already started to make some space animations around the "Icy Planet" scene. I built my computer! Whoohoo. I'm really excited, this is my first fully custom build, and it was fun. Terragen is extremely fast on this computer (As well as Crysis) I'm estimating about 3 times faster render times compared to my last computer, and that's just using one core of my processor. The official specs are: 3.0Ghz Dual Core E6850 GeForce 8800 GTS 512 4 GB Patriot Ram 320 GB Harddrive 22" Samsung 226BW (1680x1050) And I must say, this thing is awesome. The dual cores are great, cause now I can run a Terragen render in the background, and use the second core for browsing the internet, emailing, etc. And at night I can crop rend

I have just purchased myself a brand new PC! I've got a 3.0 Ghz dual core processor and 4 gigs of ram, so I will be able to render much faster now. When it arrives in the mail I will be able to start work on Terragen again, and will be purchasing the licensed edition (with animation plugin) over the summer, if all goes well. On a side note, I will be able to play Crysis! Can't wait till every thing arrives in the mail.
